I dont think this quartz is from erongo, probably the basalts at goboboseb mountains.

I agree Herman, locality changed. I am a bit suspicious of this specimen & wonder if it is a fake ?

The work done at the base of the quartz xl looks suspicious. People should remember this when they work an xl to expose more of it. Before you start working an xl, find out if the matrix visibly scratches and what can you do to get rid of the scratches. Only then should you go after the xl you want to expose.
