Green obsidean of slag?

Green obsidean of slag?

These were collected from an old dump site many years ago. They have the same properties an obsidean but i have not seen green obsidean before. Any ideas of what it is????

I agree as well; slag. We used to find a lot of this material along the Lake Superior shoreline between Munising and Marquette, Michigan near the old iron ore smelters...
