Need ID for the metallic crystal on mother rock

Dear friends ,
ID needed for the metallic crystal on mother rock
Locality : Zagi mountain , Hameed abad NWFP (now KPK) , Fata Pakistan.
on one side of the specimen there are minute signs of red rutile.
your comments regarding ID will be highly appreciated,

Could be magnetite.
Did you check with a magnet?

Yeah i have checked it with magnet , and secondly the crystal structure is also different

Hi Kalim,

Looks like it could be Rutile. Check the color of it's streak as well as Jose's sound advice on whether or not it's attracted to a magnet. Good luck.
