Hi, I collected this sample in one of the mines at Maitlands I'm not sure what it is, thinking Aragonite but to me it looks unusual, any toughs on this?

It was found in a cavern or naturally forming cavern that the miners happened to cross trough there are lots of small stalagmite like formations on the ceiling and walls and this leads me to think that it could be Aragonite, perhaps a nudge in the right direction would help :).

the mineral is white no signs of colour other than the dirt from the matrix that is stubborn as hell. here with lots of photos sorry for quality but my phone is about my best tool for micro photography at the moment so I'm shooting trough a 10x loupe or the microscope respectively.
