Need some identifying 2 specimens ..

A friend gave me 2 specimens but with no locality or any idea what they are. Hopefully someone can help me out with these 2 specimens. My friend was able to narrow down the localities to the countries where they were found and I have named the attached photos accordingly but besides that I have no idea what they are. I think the Canadian one is Albite from Francon Quarry in Quebec but I am not positive. I have no idea what the brownish crystals on the China specimen are (See second message for China mineral specimen pic). I believe the greenish material is a thin coating of flourite.

Thanks to anyone who can help me out with identifying the specimens and possibly giving me a locality for these 2 specimens!! John

i have a wild guess of pyromorphite for that chinese one... that brown colour, is that just on the outside of the crystals? like a rind? they appear maybe a different colour in the centers

I think you hit the nail on the head with your guess of pyromorphite. After getting your message I checked my collection as I have some pyromorphite from Tunesia and compared them. Even though the coloring is totally different from the Chinese specimen in the picture, the crystal form is the same. The brown color is just on the outside just like a 'rind about 1mm thick. The centre as far as I can see is green. Thanks for the help. It was much appreciated. John

The canadian piece doesn't look like Francon material to me. Looks like a feldspar group mineral. Due to their abundance in Canada I wouldn't bother trying to get a locality on it if it is indeed feldspar.
