hello .
how we can calculate the power of the camera lense.and what is mean by 35mm on mnacro lense.thanks

35mm means 35mm fixed focal length. Magnification (1:2, 1:1, 2:1 etc.) depends of focal length and distance between lens and object. For example, 1:1 magnification means that 1mm object is equal to 1mm on camera's CCD matrix.

i am realy confused how to understand lens calculation ,sir can you tell me about cheap camera and lense which i want to use for macro photography.
and how can learn more in detail about lense.
