Improving Mindat.orgSuomen Mineraalit

9th Nov 2006 10:48 UTCHans Kloster

In general I find that the very good book with the minerals from Finland should be mention more often. I recommend:

Kai Hytönen: Suomen Mineraalit. Geologian tutkimuskeskus. Erillisjulkaisu. 399 pages. Jyväskylä 1999.

The book is as good as Hans-Jürgen Wilke: Schweden. München. 1997.

Under eucryptite we should have Haapaluoma, Finland according to:

Lahti, Seppo I.; Kallio, Pekka and von Knorring,O.: Tkhe composition, physical properties and occurrence from the Haapaluoma pegmatite, Finland. Bull.Geol. Soc. Finland 54, 1-2, 5-13. 1982.

Reference added to the eucryptite page.

Thanks Hans.

Ciao. Marco

Title of the Lahti et al. article is complete in the eucryptite page.
