DIEHARD ROCKHOUND BLUE LADY TOURMALINE FIELDTRIP
October 22, 2003 04:50AM
The Diehard Rockhounding Club is going to the Blue Lady Tourmaline Mine on Sunday, November 23rd, 2003.
There are no requirements to join us other than signing a waiver for the San Diego State University and a hold harmless agreement for the Diehard Rockhounding Club.
We are a free club and all are welcome to join.
We try to organize field trips a few times a month.
About the Blue Lady Tourmaline Mine.
There have been some large smoky quartz points found there as well as blue tourmaline.
You will need to send to us an email request to attend the fieldtrip to the Blue Lady Tourmaline Mine.
Our email address is thomascarlhess@yahoo.com
Your request to go must be sent no later than November 1st.
We will then send you an email with an attachment for the Hold Harmless Agreement as well as the link to printout the waiver for the University.
Both of these forms must be completed, signed and mailed to us at:
Thomas Hess c/o Diehard Rockhound Club
24375 Jackson Ave, G207, Murrieta, CA 92562
Everyone who will be attending must have both forms filled out and signed.
These forms are very important for us and for the University.
The forms must be received by us no later than November 7th for we are required to mail all of the signed waivers to the University to get final approval. The University says that most of the requests like these are approved.
On the final day, anyone not having a waiver signed in time and approved WILL NOT GO... NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
