l love Tourmalines, Topaz, Beryls & Kunzite, as well as Tanzanite & Epidote, l have of late become very fond of them, although l love all minerals.

l would be very interested to see your specimens, any gem minerals, those from your favourite pegmatites in Afghanistan, Brazil, Madagasca, Pakistan & Siberia.

Please show us some from other localities as well, particularly African localities, those from Mozambique, Namibia & Tanzania, thank you.

This Topaz is one of my recent acquisitions.

Hey Perko. I'm enjoying this, nothing better then checking out everyone's goodies. This thread is going to be a whole lot of fun.

This one of mine is from Stak Nala, Pakistan. 85mm x 50mm. A bit different to the one's you normally see.

Hello all, this is my first post since joining! All those photos kick major butt, especially the watermelon tourmaline. Color zoned crystals are truly a fascinating, and visually captivating phenomenon. Does anyone here know anything about what makes tourmaline grow in colors like that?thumbs up

Here is my 5,5 cm Tourmaline from Aracuai, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
I aquired this sample 2 years ago during a trip in this area.

From the same trip a very interesting specimen from Itinga, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
The outer green zones are still Tourmaline, the inner core was replaced by pink Lepidolite.
A nice and unusual pseudomorph, i think.

Hi,

Thanks for posting photos of all these beauties.

This is a miniature of elbaite with lepidolite crystals from the Himalaya Mine, California which is in my collection. I purchased this piece from Ward's of Rochester, New York in 1972.
