Here is one for Copper Queen Whiskey that I found at an estate sale in Apache Junction, AZ. I was asked to help disperse a collection rich in minerals and mining antiques and jumped at the chance to get this old porcelain jug with this label and I assumed it was associated with the Copper Queen mine in Bisbee. I noticed the Calumet, Michigan portion on the label and have found out very, very little about this particular whiskey produced by N.R. Bianchi of Calumet, MI. Anyway, it is a permanent part of my decor in my mineral room.

Here's a Danish beer I picked up a couple of days ago, on a short trip to North Jylland - didn't go to the small island Fur where the beer was brewed, and where you can collect fossils and even a few minerals. In my collection I have opalized diatoms and natrojarosite. But what does this have to do with volcanoes? Well, in the sedimentary layers there are distinct darker volcanic ash layers from the "Skagerak volcanoes", having regular eruptions during early Tertiary period Eocene (ca 55 million years ago).

Austrian "Smaragd Wein" (= Emerald wine)
Or how about a glass of Quartz wine?

Hey guys!
What shall the people in whole world think about us mineralcollectors - that we drink the whole day wine?
No! If on some days vodka is a too hard drink for us, we are drinking also beer.

A local beer brewn for the official presentation of the Mosasaurus "Prognatodon saturator", nicknamed Bèr, the second Mosasaurus found in the Netherlands, near Maastricht. I just hope that the French will not steal this one too
