hi with your permission,,the attachment is a quartz specimen from Arkansas..it appears too have massive inclusions and is fully terminated..at some point it appears too have been very badly fractured but must have selfhealed...sorry once again for the poor photography
but am interested how it may have formed..all opinions welcomed

I can't tell what's going on in the photos, but fractured and healed crystals are not uncommon, and make for interesting specimens, preserving a past event that was rather traumatic. Some can even show quite remarkable bends, as the rock they were in moved under heat/pressure, and they were cracked and healed.

The break/bend/heal process is not uncommon in tourmalines, especially for example from the Himalaya Mine in California.
