Hi there,
I've obtained a nice specimen of cerussite partially covered by a light rusty-limonitic layer.
So, I was wondering if using dithionite could be a good idea. I'm worried about the cerussite crystals...

Thanks in advance for the tips!

It should be safe to clean your cerussite with iron out or dithionite. Break off a tiny piece of the material you want to clean and test out the solution on that. Make sure your specimen and the cleaning solution are the same temperature. Cerussite is heat sensitive.
