The next thing I intend to write is an overhaul of the administration & maintenance system. Most of you won't see this, but for the small band of us who use it I know it's a pain and a bit of a mess.
The most important changes will be
a) simpler maintenance and editing facilities - I want to make it easier & quicker to add information
b) full transaction log - publically accessable.
So you'll be able to see a list of what's changed that day - which minerals are updated, which localities changed etc. This is very important, as at the moment not even I really know what changes the trusted members (with full read/write access) have been making - and I'm sure we all want to learn what's new to look at.
ETA sometime mid next week - will try to write some of the code on the plane to Canada (Sony Vaio PCG-C1XN laptop with long-distance battery!)
