Improved Search Feature for Localities

Something that could be improved is the search for localities. It would be better and easier if you could search for a particular mineral by US State.

"Search for Minerals in a Region" lets you enter a mineral name and a state or any other regional name.

What about being able to list all species in MinDat from a particular country or county?
Is that possible?

That is listed on the locality page.

I would like to be able to search images only for specific minerals at specific locations. Trying to find a specific mineral image from locations that have hundreds of images is very difficult. It would be nice if there were perhaps an alpha key on the image pages, or a search specifically set up for images by mineral and location.

Thanks

1) You can do a photo search (Search page): [www.mindat.org] (you don't need to fill in anything on the keyword field)

2) From the mineral/locality page (click on the i icon that just follows the mineral name on a locality page) click on the photo gallery link (Data section)
For example:

You will also see photos from any sublocalities that have photos of that mineral.
