Does anyone know if there is anything worth collecting around Stave Lake, near Mission, BC. Also my brothers friend found an old mine north of Hatzic Lake. Does anyone know of any old claims in that area?

B.C. Dept of Mines has a website that will tell you what the claims are and their Minfile has loads of good info.

Somewhere between Mission and Agassiz in a road cut I found a skarn with Andradite etc. Nothing to write home about. Ty Balacko has cleaned out the Bear Mountain material and I hear that Silica Bell is now exhausted.

Ryan;
Do check out minfile and take the time to install the Autodesk mapper.This will let you into mapplace where you can taylor make yourself a map of anywhere in BC. Also see Dr. Richard Hudson's books . Volume 2 that covers the interior within a days drive of Vancouver is likely the one most use to you. He also does a good job of walking you through minfile/mapplace in the appendix. Well worth a trip to the library/bookstore.
