Hi there

I will be visiting Namibia in April, does anyone here know any collecting spots in the northern area?

I will be going to the northern border of Angola and then into koakoland, I would appreciate any advice.

Be sure to get a copy of Nicole Grunert's handbook "Namibia - Fascination of Geology", it is published in German and English, contains great information about geology and minerals of Namibia, and advice on collecting, a good book to travel with. Nicole runs geological, tours, safaris and collection trips and might be able to recommend contacts in the area where you are going. She can be contacted at hardrock@iway.na

Google the names - for instance searching for Andreas Palfi gives his full address and email on the first page of hits, second hit from bottom.
