hello my name is joe i'm from indiana and after talking to other clubs and
learning most of them don't even make a field trip a month and reading how well
magma is doing i think indiana needs a club like magma every state does realy
i'm still joining other clubs including magma i want to start a club based in indiana if anyone is interested or has advice please post message i'm fairly
new to the hobby so let's help each other learn anyone is welcome no matter how close or how far

Hi Joe,
Reading this put a BIG smile on my face.Sounds so much like what I am doing.You are right about the field trips,you have to keep the interest going.The children 7 seniors are also important.This past weekend we had a senior who walked up the Mt to collect,she added to the fun and shared collecting aventures with the group.Just keep pounding the drum Joe,there are hundreds out there who just want to collect in the field.The kids are always fun to watch and eager to learn,and do not forget to teach new people to the hobby.Put out the welcome mat,take the time to show others how it is done,what to look for ect...
We may have a name soon!LOL!I will post it when it is so.
