Does anyone have information to provide/trade on collecting orthoclase amd smoky quartz crystals in the Organ Mountains, New Mexico?

My current research leads me to Rock Springs Canyon, is this about right?

Much, much appreciated,
Morion

Morion....that is exactly right. It is, however, a good hike and climb to the pegmatite that produced the albite, orthoclase, smokey quartz, zircon and fluorapatite. Easiest access is from Aguirre Springs campsite north of the canyon. I live in Organ, NM and have several specimens from the pegmatite but, unfortunately, I'm not ready to part with them yet....sorry!! My email is auagte2@comcast.net.
