MIA New Jersey Traprock Specimens

MIA New Jersey Traprock Specimens
August 27, 2007 11:22PM
Hello All:
Please keep an eye out, as the Paterson Museum is missing three fine New Jersey traprock specimens from their display collection. Included are the 3.8 cm (Kaufman) prehnite sphere from Prospect Park, visible on page 177 of the July-August 1984 issue of Rocks and Minerals, a large amethyst specimen with big dark purple crystals, and an isolated large white analcime crystal on prehnite. This was confirmed today by a museum representative.

Thanks!
