I am wondering if anyone is familiar with it or similar unit to help me figure out best way to use it.
It is a Hillquist superspeed H-16, 16" saw. It works...motor and all, but I have to figure out what weight to use to pull the cutting process through the blade.
Also, does anyone know if this unit is able to adjust cross-wise to move the cutting material over after each cut through...or...if it requires one to manually move the stone over and reclamp after each cut. My machine has some kind of an adjustment ratchet on the side of the machine, but turning it doesn't seem to accomplish anything.
Any experience with this kind of machine? Please help.
