My wife and I adopted some kids from Haiti a number of years ago. One, who is now 18 and has some learning disabilities, talks just like that email. She has only lived here now for 9+ years. One of the things she says that drives us out of our minds is "twallet paper" (say it with a French-Creole accent).

Don't get me wrong, we all love her to pieces and we are all a happy family. I just had to have Fergeni "universal translaters" surgically implanted in my ears. They double as a filter for when my wife and I are arguing about rockswinking smiley I just say "they are not translating correctly so I don't understand what you are saying".

I know I am in my own little world, but everyone knows me here.
