I'm a Brazilian rock collector and i got this as a present from my uncle.

He said there are a lot of it in his backyard. It looks very old, has some bubbles and dark spots like iron.

Can someone please tell me what it is just by looks at the pictures.

Can this be produced by a lightning strike? Could it be a very old obsidian? Or it is just a slag?

I am now convinced it's a slag, but It's very curious how those things got there.

My uncle lives in a very isolating place in the amazon. I've been there myself when he gave me this piece, and when you look at it, seems like they emerge out of the soil.

I searched the ethernet and found these fulgurites, and they looks like what my uncle has in his proporty.

What do you guys think?
