I got an PM from that guy today. I was starting to feel left out. You know, the guy that has been banned from Mindat. But when I tried to reply, I couldn't because his email has been blocked. Although, I got the PM from him today.

I also got this warning when I used his name...

Rick, I had the same experience, I got a PM a while back, but when I was going to post on the forum that had !'s name, the same message came up. Hopefully we won't see anymore of ! It was rather annoying.

OmiGod! Even the Holy Roman church only excommunicates. It takes a totalitarian dictatorship of a vicious kind to 'unperson' somebody'!! Stalin even went to the length of having Trotsky's face removed from all Party and general educational records. ROFL.

Under absolute monarchies, one might be hung drawn and quartered for seriously offending the Monarch - but at least when they spitted one's joints on spikes outside the gates to the great cities, they had the common decency to advise the public who they were and what their crime had been. Else there's no deterrent effect d'you see? At least, that's how the argument runs....

And all this in sunny down-town Burbank too...

Owen,

I am not sure I follow. If you are alluding to the fact I left out his name, it is because Mindat wouldn't let me use it. I suspect most of us know who I am referring to though.
