GeneralSeeking info for Georgia, USA, gold panning opportunities

11th Aug 2016 23:06 UTCFrank Festa

Hi,

Looking for a little help from someone familiar with gold panning in the state of Georgia, USA. Will be in the "Helen" area. Lots of "kid type gem and panning sites" here. Not interested in those places.

Looking for out "in the wild" type places. The type where recreational gold panner's go.

Thanks

Frank

I put "recreational gold panning in Georgia" in my Bing search engine window and got lots of results which could help you. Try google or bing and you will find the info you seek.

Frank, I suggest you join the GPAA - Gold Prospectors Association of America. website is www.goldprospectors.org. They have a lot of gold claims all over the US. You get a guidebook listing all the claims with membership. Good hunting!

Thanks guys...................I use the Internet constantly for research activities and am aware of the GPAA.

Was hoping to get info from someone who has been there and done that. Hands on, in the creek experience.

Frank
