While the Maine Mineral Symposium is gone (and will be sadly missed!) the Oxford County Mineral and Gem Association will be hosting our 51st annual show on July 14 and 15, at Telstar High School, Route 26 in Bethel Maine. We will have 16 dealers, many displays, children's activities, hourly door prizes, a grand door prize, gold panning and cabbing demonstrations and lots more. On Saturday there will be at least one field trip to the Orchard Mine, in Buckfield; on Sunday at least one to Mt. Mica, in Paris . These trips will be run through Maine Mineral Adventures.

Just a reminder for those in or near western Maine that the Oxford County Gem and Mineral show still has another day. Lots of nice stuff and displays. Cabbing machines and saws for sale as well.
