What's the verdict on this? Here's one of the Kazak 'Stellerites' that looks to me a little too much like a stilbite.



Misidentified? Or is it all stilbite?



Or is stellerite=stiblite ?

As with most of the zeolite group now, unless there is an analisys done on the specimen in question you can't be certain one way or the other.

Stellerite is considered a different species from the stilbites. See the following paper for the IMA approved nomenclature of the zeolites:
