Howdy Uwe,
Yes it is, I am currently going through the mines summary cards and SARIG data to sort it all out, as there are some historic names/localities, involved that appear to have been engulfed into the main open pit area. I had several questions asked about it over the weekend while at the Palmer Rock-a-Rama.
I just didn't get to merge that page (loc-16616) with the one I was working on last night (loc-163.html).
If you'd like to merge them please go ahead, I wont be online again until tomorrow now.
Thanks Uwe.
Cheers Mark.

Hi Uwe,
The "Mount Gunson Mine", "Mount Gunson Copper Mine" and the "Cattlegrid Open Cut" are all the same mine. It was opened in 1974 following the exploration for a large copper deposit in the vicinity of known copper deposits around Pernatty Lagoon. Most famous for Atacamite crystals and ball like clusters as well as small Covellite crystals.
Cheers Trev

Howdy Uwe,
Could locality No's 163 & 16616, be merged as one, they are both now identical in information. They have their own lists of photos, although loc163 has only 9. Those 9 are now not visable as only loc16616 shows on the South Australia list, which means loc163 can only be seen if searched for.
Cheers Mark.
