Improving Mindat.orgChallacolloite crystal
19th Jul 2014 15:39 UTCReiner Mielke Expert
These euhedral crystals occur in vugs between masses of cotunnite with challacolloite intergrowths associated with "rams-horn" and other odd shaped nitratine crystals. Embedded in the cotunnite-challacolloite intergrowths are pseudoboleite crystals which also occur as euhedral crystals in vugs. Other white minerals found in the vugs are fluorite, hemimorphite and quartz.
Unless the owner of this sample has some proof I would suggest changing this to Uklonskovite.
