Improving Mindat.orgIs this hagendorfite? from Palermo

Looks like a member of the phosphoferrite-kryzhanovskite series to me as they are orthorhombic pseudo-octahedral whereas hagendorfite is monoclinic and tend to be in tabular nearly rectangular crystals. There are some nice images on http://www.mindatnh.org/

And lets not get started on whether which of hagendorfite / ferrohagendorfite / hagendorfite-NaNa is found at Palermo

Uwe - I may have pointed to the wrong images - one of the images for hagendorfite was OK, the other was the one I was questioning. Now I see both are gone, maybe a correction for the OK one is in order?

Morning guys. The specimen from my collection has a whitmore label, and the crystal is quite dark green to almost black. I'm very familiar with Palermo mineralogy and this is definitely not a match for phosphoferrite. I think the identification is good... except for yes it isn't clear which member of the group it is.

Jason, your specimen is quite nice, I didn't mean to question it, I apologize for the misunderstanding. It was the other photo if hagendorfite from Palermo that was the issue. Hopefully yours will be restored if it hasn't been so already.
