Your carnelian collection site location posted with your " Stirling Brook, Warren Township, Somerset County, New Jersey, U.S.A." has your purple crystal location marker in the incorrect position. The correct location is in Sterling Brook, West of Stirling Road, South of Community Place ( which runs West of Stirling Road ), and just South of Rolf's Restaurant & Pub ( at 65 Stirling Rosd ). The approximate geographical coordinates are: Latitude North 40.644 degrees, Longitude West 074.473 degrees.

I was here at this exact location. I found a lot of what is quartz and citrine bur no agate. I will go back to this week and really look but there are some houses past the pylons . I did not run into any big holes. There are a lot of no trespassing signs up the road.

Are you sure they are citrine?

Look more like iron stained quartz.
