www.mindat.org], it is claimed the specimen is "200 years" old. In the original descriptive article, "Kraus E H, Seaman W A, Slawson C B (1930) Seamanite, a new manganese phosphoborate from Iron County, Michigan, American Mineralogist 15, 220-225", it is stated that Prof. Seaman found the first specimens in 1918. Other claims in the description seem overly inflated to me as well - please have this clarified.
