1st Oct 2014 00:37 UTCJuan Manuel Garriga
I have some pieces labeled like Hematite from Alchuri, Pakistan.
Some dealers are selling very similar pieces like Ilmenite.
In mindat data base I can find some pieces labeled like Ilmenite too.

You should check streak (hematite has redish-brown, ilmenite - black, dark brown).

Some data:
Ilmenite is not listed in Mindat Alchuri page (although this do not means it could not exist!).
Ilmenite from Skardu District listed in Mindat is usually from Haramosh Mts area: http://www.mindat.org/minlocsearch.php?frm_id=mls&cform_is_valid=1&cf_mls_page=1&minname=ilmenite®ion=skardu+district
