Type Locality:Narsaq stream pegmatite, Kvanefjeld Mt., Kuannersuit (Kvanefjeld) plateau, Ilimaussaq complex, Narsaq, Kitaa (West Greenland) Province, Greenland
General Appearance of Type Material:As banded gneissic and irregular masses up to 4 x 3 x 1 cm, which consists of bent flakes 1 mm long
Geological Setting of type material:In the intermediate zone of nepheline-sodalite syenite pegmatites of the Ilímaussaq alkaline complex
