Bröggerite

Name:
Named in 1884 by Christian Wilhelm Blomstrand to honor one of the great petrologists of an age of great petrologists Waldemar Christopher Brögger [November 10, 1851 Oslo - February 17, 1840 Oslo, Norway] whose description of paragenesis of nepheline syenite pegmatites first published in 1890 is still quoted today.
