Riesling Beryl

Colour:Leek green
A variety of Beryl

Discovered in Germany in the 1850s, a leek-green (grape) coloured gem variety of Beryl.

True Riesling Beryl only comes from Germany, there are imitation 'Riseling Beryl' samples being marketed that come from Brazil and elsewhere - these are similar colour, but green Beryl should not be called 'Riesling Beryl' unless it comes from the original german locality.
