The Mg analogue of Osumilite.
Mg-dominant (at the octahedral site) analogues of osumilite have been described several times (Armbruster and Oberhänsli, 1988; Balassone et al., 2008; Seryotkin et al., 2008), but published without approval by the CNMNC.
Approved as a valid species by IMA in 2011, based upon a complete investigation of a type specimen from Bellerberg, Eifel, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany.

NOTE: All localities listed here should be checked if they are to be assigned under osumilite-(Mg) or osumilite.
