Andes Jade

A variety of Antigorite

Marketing term for a tough lapidary-quality serpentine (composed dominantly of antigorite, with 21 to 31% lizardite, minor magnetite and Mg-carbonate) from Argentina. Color varies through many shades of green, yellowish, to almost black.
