A polytype of Pectolite

Electron diffraction patterns showed one pectolite sample from Rauschermühle, Germany, that gave a pattern like of "parawollastonite". The name parapectolite was suggested by Muller.
Michael Fleischer according to IMA recommendation (1962) about parawollastonite, change the name parapectolite in pectolite-M2abc.

The original pectolite-M2abc material came from Rauschermühle Quarry, Niederkirchen, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.
