Name:Named for Henryk Arctowski (1871-1958), Polish Antarctic researcher in the Belgica Antartic Expedition (1897-1899). The Polish Antarctic research station is named for him, as well as Arctowski Peak and Arctowski Peninsula.


Plastic 'clay' of well-defined rhombohedral crystals 2-5 pm in dimension, usually twinned in books, in taranakite.
Originally described from Low Head, King George Island, South Shetland Islands, Antarctic Peninsula, Western Antarctica, Antarctica.
