Member of:Alluaudite Group
Name:Originally named huhnerkobelite by Marie Louise Lindberg [Smith] in 1950 for the type locality in Bavaria, Germany. Renamed without redescription by Moore & Ito (1979) for the calcium + vacancy member of the Alluaudite Group. Note: The "huhnerkobelite" of Moore (1965, Am Min 50:713-717) is not true huhnerkobelite, but is the Na-rich member of the series.
