Crandallite Subgroup. Alunite Group.

A secondary mineral that is a product of sulphatic argillic wall-rock alteration in hydrothermal vein and disseminated ore deposits, replacing apatite, and occurring in aluminous medium-grade metamorphic deposits; in bauxite deposits.
