A variety of Jasper
Very special multicolor black-blue-brown-white local variety of Jasper or microquartzite associated with manganese ores of Taikan range in Eastern Siberia. Its coloration caused by: black - manganese oxides (very often Braunite), blue- alkaline amphiboles, brown- iron hydroxides, white - pure Quartz parts.
