Formula:
~Ir3Rh3S8
As rounded to isometric inclusions, 10-60 microns in size, in a matrix of Pt-Fe alloys grains (0.1-1.5 mm) from talus and alluvium inside and below a zone of chloritic and quartzitic rocks of the northern Kamchatka metamorphic block. Associated with cuprian gold, gold, and other PGE minerals.
Second reported analysis is suggested by authors (Zhdanov & Rudashevskii) to refer to the same stoichiometry as for 'UM1980-11-S:CuIrPtRh' (from the same site), but Smith & Nickel list this as a separate species.
