Name:	From the Greek κέρας, horn, and άργϋρος, silver in allusio to the horn-like luster of the species.
Synonym of:	Chlorargyrite

A synonym for chlorargyrite of rather recent usage. The primary name used in Dana's System of Mineralogy, Volume II (1951).
