Synonym of:Nickeloan Clinochlore


An ill-defined variety of clinochlore with a faint nickel content. Schuchardtite was first described by Schrauf as a variety of Chrysoprase Earth, later considered as a variety of Pennine or Antigorite and finally recognized as a variety of Clinochlore (Fleischer, 1987)
