Formula:
CaCr2O4
Crystal System:
Orthorhombic
Found in inclusions within lower-mantle diamond. Possibly the Cr analogue of harmunite.

Coexists with parascandolaite, 'Unnamed (Mg analogue of xieite)', 'ferropericlase', 'Unnamed (Orthorhombic Polymorph of Magnesium Oxide)', calcite, apatite group, spinel group, periclase, wüstite, and probably nitrogen-bearing yarlongite.

Compare the compositionally similar chromatite.
