System:TetragonalLustre:Vitreous
Hardness:3
Name:Named for its relationship to sincosite.

The barium analogue of sincosite.

Some samples from the type locality are rich in Sr (Uwe Kolitsch, unpubl. data), thus indicating that the Sr analogue may also occur in nature.
