Locality: N'Chwaning I Mine, N'Chwaning Mines, Kuruman, Kalahari manganese fields, Northern Cape Province, South Africa

Exceptional crystal of metallic hematite from the famous N'Chwaning Mine. The crystal has mirror-like faces (hard to photograph!), with complex crystal faces on the edges. Though there are a few natural imperfections, this is a beautiful crystal. Overall size of mineral specimen: 38x30x18 mm. Size of individual crystals: 38 mm.
