Biehlite, Anglesite

Biehlite : ((Sb,As)O)2[MoO4], Anglesite : PbSO4

A rare thumbnail of Biehlite, an Mo-Sb mineral from Tsumeb. The Biehlite forms a large tuft of fine hair-like crystals. The crystals are greyish white. Some of the 'hairs' appear fibrous, and measure up to over 2cm in length. The Biehlite is growing from a base of white Anglesite. ** Please note we will not post this specimen due to its fragility, but are happy to arrange pick up at one of the main mineral shows**
