Hematite

Hematite

A magnificent display specimen of 'kidney ore' Hematite found in the early 1900's. The Hematite is dark reddish-grey and very lustrous, with smooth botryoidal crystal growth. Around the edges of the specimen the radial growth of Hematite to form the botryoids can be seen. This is one of the nicest Hematites we have seen from Egremont. Ex Arthur Luckett Collection. A large specimen that weighs just over 2.5 kg.

Size: 120mm x 140mm x 70mm
